Flowers: From Men to Women

 Flowers For Women

It can never be a wrong occasion to send flowers to your wife, girlfriend, lover, or your mother sister, aunt or friend.

Flowers are a beautiful, elegant, and thoughtful way to say: I Love You, I’m Sorry, I Miss You, or simply Hello, Thinking of You.

Giving flowers and bouquets are one of our traditions that we still hold to, even in this high-tech, fast-paced, ultra-modern, dizzying world.

By sending flowers to your girl, you can slow the pace down for a moment or two and she’ll have very special thoughts of you.

Flowers: From Women to Men

 Flowers For Men

Many people are surprised to learn that men also love flowers, and appreciate receiving flowers as well.

Generally men prefer the brighter, vivid, bold colors of reds, yellows, and oranges and prefer stronger, linear designed flowers as opposed to soft, amorphous, or fluffed shapes.

If sending a romantic message, the choice would be roses, red, black or mixed.  This would also offer a sign of love.

Orchids are another way to go in that these amazing flowers come in dark green, purples and cocoa brown.

Green leafy plants, flowering or not are also a good choice.

New surveys remind us that we all love flowers so don’t hesitate to send a guy a manly bouquet or potted plant.

Be aware that people in different countries have different customs for flowers giving. For example, in Mexico, some believe red flowers  are spell casters and white flowers are spell breakers. If you’re sending flowers to China, customs in China differ from Western culture.

Keep this in mind:

For Newlyweds: feel free to send roses,
lilies, tulips, Bird of Paradise

For Lovers: also send roses or lilies

For Elderly:  send orchids to imply nobility; evergreens say long
life; and jonquil says youth, or never growing old and good health

For Business, (especially new): send yellow chrysanthemums, Chinese roses,
Bird of Paradise all represent wealth and prosperity

For Hospitalized, or Ill:  pastel flowers with little scent are best.
Never send a potted plant as this represents containment and finality.

For Friends:
send golden rod, Chinese roses, baby’s breath, or  red palm The wrapping
of your package is symbolically considered part of your gift, so be mindful of this.

Also, in general, in Asian culture, red flowers symbolize happiness and life,
and are regularly used at weddings.  White flowers are associated death,
